Description:
The NV Buildings Designed by Broadway Maylan and completed between 2004 and 2005, the development consists of three 18-storey residential towers, each 180 ft (55 m) in height. Costing £36 million, they stand in a line overlooking Huron Basin from the waterside of Pier 9 (North Wharf), their curved frontages are designed to represent sails. The 3 X1 Media City towers in the back ground are also residential towers number 4 is still under construction. The Detriot Railway Swing bridge was moved 15 years ago to the middle of the Dock separating the Huron and Erie Basins as part of the redevelopment projects. It is now used as a foot bridge linking Media city and the Lowery outlet.
